The 2016 TAIAO State Champion THESA Riders are practicing for the season openers. The Varsity plays in the Hico Invitational Friday, September 2nd. The JV and middle school teams begin their seasons Friday, September 9th. Come our for Friday night lights with the Riders.
Fall THESA sports are in season. Volleyball matches and tournaments are on for all teams. Football opens the season in HIco on September 2nd. The cheer team is preparing to lead fans as the football team pursues a second state championship. Basketball, baseball and softball tryouts for spring 2018 are in September and October.
Volleyball season is here. Volleyball games are on the event runner on the web site home page. Volleyball practice information is on the Calendar page. Come see the varsity on Tuesday at Bethesda or Friday or Saturday at the PIT Tournament.
2017 Cheer Team Tryouts were the week of April 17 - 21 for High School Girls 9th - 12th Grade. If you missed tryouts email the athletes name, grade, and any previous cheer experience to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Coach Pam McKeever at 817-999-2137. Have a conversation with Coach McKeever about your option to tryout for the team.

Boys The 2016-17 Rider boys Varsity basketball team had a great end to the season. The Riders won the NCHBC National Division II Championship game. Congrats to the Riders. Season information for the 2017-18 season will come out in September.
Girls THESA is excited to announce that Delyssa Miller has accepted a basketball scholarship at Oklahoma Christian University. Delyssa, congratulations on your scholarship!
THESA is evaluating interest in a men's volleyball program. Please send an email to email@example.com with Men's Volleyball in the title. In the email include the current age and grade of interested athletes.
Spring THESA sports hold tryouts in September and October to begin preparation for their season. Most teams have fall practices or clinics to lead into January when practices begin. Season play begins in February and runs into May for most spring sports.
The Rider track and field team will be competing in the 2017 TAIAO Invitational Track Meet on April 22. The track meet is at Wanda R. Smith High School in Keene, TX. Come see our high school and middle school athletes compete in a broad range of events.
The track team is open to athletes from 8 years old through high school.
THESA Softball will hold tryouts in the Fall for the 2018 Spring season. Please check back for dates and location as details come available.

The tennis team is closing out their season with high school matches at Fort Worth Country Day on Tuesday and junior high matches on Friday versus Liberty Christian.
THESA baseball is excited to announce tryouts for the spring 2018 season. Tryouts will be Saturday, September 9 and Saturday, September 16; 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The Riders finished 5th in last year's Homeschool World Series and are ready to build for 2018.
THESA (Texas Home Educator's Sports Association) exists to support Dallas/Fort Worth area families with a calling to home educate their children by providing competitive sports programs, enabling children to grow in Godly character and skills at the junior and senior high level.
