THESA Tennis was established in 2014 in order to offer home-educated tennis players the opportunity to play competitive tennis in a team atmosphere. We have enjoyed a rich competitive history with many of our players going on to play in college.

We play matches against local schools, as well as participating in several tournaments each season. We strive to create an atmosphere of community, friendship, and excellence in all areas - not only in tennis, but also in sportsmanship and Christ-like character on and off the court.

2024 THESA TENNIS TRYOUTS! - ***MOVED Due to Weather***

Tryouts are now scheduled for: 

TUESDAY, JANUARY 30th! 

When: Tuesday, January 30th (new date!) 3:00-5:00

Time:   3:00-4:30 (tryouts) 4:30-5:00 (meeting) 

Where: Richland Tennis Center, NRH

Tryouts cost: $30.00 per player

Details & Info: All players 8th grade and up are welcome to try out for the 2024 THESA HS team. Players must have turned 13 years old by September 1, 2023 in order to be eligible for the high school team. 

Having prior tennis experience is recommended, but all levels are welcome to try out. If you are interested in our pre-tryout practice drills, contact thesatennis@gmail.com for more info. 

* The cost of the 2024 competitive season is $500.00, payable in up to 3 payments, plus a $50.00 THESA membership fee. This fee includes full uniforms (including warm ups) court rentals, tournament entry fees, and player development skills coaching.

* THESA Tennis events are usually on Tuesdays and Fridays, from January 23-April 30. There are optional Wednesday tournaments scheduled, as well as one travel tournament over a weekend. Complete info will be given at tryouts.
