2018 NACA DIVISION I SOFTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

THESA Softball went undefeated at the NACA National Tourament in Dayton, Tennessee.  The Riders came out on top by winning the championship game on Friday, beating the 3 time 2A Alabama State Champions, Evangel Christian of Alabaster, AL,  by the score of 9-6.

2019 THESA SOFTBALL TRYOUTS

DATE:  Saturday, November 10th

TIME:  9am – 12pm

REGISTRATION:  8.45am

LOCATION:  Seabourn Park (behind Seabourn Elementary School)

2301 Picadilly Blvd.

Tryouts are open to all eligible athletes in grades 9-12.  Players should bring all personal equipment and water for tryouts.  Players must also bring a completed and signed THESA Athlete Application and Release form (found below).

 

There will be a mandatory team meeting after tryouts to go over season expectations and team info.  ALL PARENTS AND PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND.

2018 NACA Division I All Tournament Players

Five Riders were named to the All Tournament team:  Valori Voorheese (SS & Catcher), Corrie Gaddis (Pitcher & 1B), Tara Stewart (SS & Pitcher), Hailey Schmaltz (Catcher & 1B) and Heather Hoffman (2B & CF).  Five is the largest number of players from one team ever named to the NACA All Tournament team.
