Starting in the month of September we begin to form our teams, and prepare for the 2019-2020 season. The season runs from November to early March.
We have an 18U team (Varsity), a 14U team (Jr Varsity, 8th grade A games), and a 12U team (7th grade MS)
We compete against area home school teams, private schools, and some public schools throughout the DFW area. One of our program goals is to schedule a sufficient number of games (20-30) in a season to prepare us for the home school tournament state and national tournaments at the end of our season.
Our per player fees in the past have ranged from $300-$450, depending on the need for uniforms and the number of tournaments in which we participate.
Two home school tournaments are at locations that require overnight stays (State tourney is 3 nights in Round Rock, TX / Nationals is 6 nights in Springfield, MO) and we will participate in one of these two.
The girls’ basketball calendar events are posted in the THESA Riders website (www.thesariders.com).
Thanks for considering us. For questions, please contact Rick Ramos (THESA Riders girls’ basketball coach 817-721-2105 cell).
