2018-2019 basketball season tryouts are coming in September at the Bedford Boys Ranch. Tryouts are open to players 11 - 18 years old. We have high school (Junior Varsity, Varsity) and junior high (7th, 8th grade) teams. See the Basketball home page for additional tryout information.
Cross Country is designed to fit any skill or interest level for ages 12 (6th grade) - 18 (12th grade). See the calendar and contact Coach Mc Gill for more information.
In our 2017-2018 season, we had two teams: a middle school team (age 12 & under) and a junior varsity team (age 16 & under).
Starting in the month of September we will start tryouts, form our teams, and prepare for the 2018-2019 season which runs from November to early March. I expect us to have a middle school team (8th grade,or 14U) and a junior varsity team (16U). I am currently scheduling several Varsity games for the JV team for next season.
We play teams that are home schooled, TAPPS, and UIL (if they will schedule with us). We try to schedule a sufficient number of games (20-30) in a season to prepare us for the home school tournaments at the end of our season. We play teams throughout the DFW area.
Our costs are lower than other home school girls’ teams because our practice gym is currently provided at no cost. Past costs per player has ranged from $300-$450, depending on the need for uniforms and the number of tournaments in which we participate.
Two of our tournaments are at locations that require overnight stays (Regional in Round Rock, TX / National in Springfield, MO).
Spring sports finished strong with both Baseball and Softball winning national championships. Check each sport for more season information. Most spring sports hold tryouts in September or October and may hold some fall workouts.

THESA Tennis has both junior high and high school teams. Both teams are co-ed and compete during the spring season - from February through May. Tryouts are held in January each year.
We are a program that serves homeschooled athletes in the North Texas area. We also welcome students from private schools if their schools do not offer a tennis program. We have a range of athletes in our program - from the developing beginner to the state-ranked tournament player. There is a place for you!
