What is THESA VOLLEYBaLL?

THESA Volleyball brings together teamwork, energy, and purpose in a Christ-centered environment where athletes are challenged to grow on and off the court. Serving homeschool athletes in the Fort Worth area, our program focuses on skill development, game strategy, and competitive play while encouraging athletes to reflect Christ through their attitude and effort.

Whether learning the fundamentals or competing at a higher level, THESA Volleyball emphasizes communication, perseverance, and unity. With every serve, set, and spike, our athletes are building confidence, strengthening character, and striving to honor God in all they do.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

WHO CAN PLAY

ELIGIBILITY

  • Athletes born between Jun 1, 2008 - Jul 31, 2012 are eligible to play at the high school level.

    Athletes born between Aug 1, 2012 - May 31, 2015 are eligible to play at the junior high level.

  • MEET or exceed the local and state regulations for academics.

    NOT be enrolled in more than 9 dual credit hours.

    NOT be enrolled in college classes as a full or part time college student.

    NOT have participated in a graduation ceremony or hold a GED or diploma from a public or private school.

    NOT be enrolled on another homeschool, private, public or select team in the same sport at the same time.

  • All athletes MUST be in good physical condition and submit a sports physical signed by a licensed medical professional, annually.

    All athletes MUST be living with their parent or guardian.

whAt to expect

► Commitment

  • Season: August - November

  • Practices: Mon-Tues-Thurs (5:30–7:00 PM) in NRH starting Aug 1

  • Games: Weekly

  • Playoffs: late Nov or early Dec

  • Attendance at practices and games is expected

► Competition

  • Competitive, homeschool program — for girls only

  • Teams available for Junior High and High School

  • Required tryouts May 8-9, 2026

  • Focus on skill development, teamwork, and competitive play

► Family Involvement

THESA is a volunteer-driven organization.

  • Families will have opportunities to serve and support the team throughout the season.

  • Responsibilities are distributed in a way that respects families’ time while ensuring the program runs smoothly.

► Cost & Equipment

Families should plan for:

  • JH Sport Fee: $650 /$750

  • JV Sport Fee: $700/$1000

  • Varsity Sport Fee: $1050

  • Uniforms: $100

  • Additional personal gear and travel expenses are the responsibility of the athlete.

  • Payment plans and fundraising opportunities are available.

  • COMMUNICATION

    All communication, schedules, and updates are managed through the SportsYou app.
