The THESA Football Off-Season Program is a structured, flexible development system for homeschool football athletes (ages 12–18) that combines:

  • Optional professional strength & performance training (available for all THESA athletes)

  • Football IQ & on-field instruction

  • Regular athlete evaluations

  • Coach and Peer-led mentorship & accountability

Families choose the training path that fits their athlete — without losing access to coaching or evaluation.

Off-season has rolling registration from January to July. REGISTER NOW!

  • How the Program Works

    Each athlete’s off-season includes:

    THESA Combines (developmental evaluations) March 14, May 23, July 25

    Saturday Field Sessions including speed & agility and Football IQ

    Mentor Coach oversight

    Optional Mentor Pods (small accountability groups)

    Athletes choose how they train outside group events.

D1 Training pathwAy

For any THESA athlete who wants professionally coached strength & performance training.

  • Train 1–2 days/week at D1 Training (Colleyville)

  • Led by Nationally Certified Strength & Conditioning Coaches

  • Focus on strength, speed, agility, performance & movement

  • Elite & Pro Options Include:

    • InBody biometric scans

    • Assessments every 8 weeks

    • Goal tracking via the TeamBuildr app

Athletes still participate fully in all THESA Combines, Football IQ + field sessions and mentorship.

    • Elite — $240/month
      (2 sessions/week + TeamBuildr + InBody scans)

    • Pro — $150/month
      (1 session/week + TeamBuildr + InBody scans)

    • (Add -On) — App Workouts — $69.99/month
      (2 workouts/week)

    • (Add -On) — 1-on-1 Training — $80/hour (reg. $150/hr)

    Athletes must complete an assessment with D1 trainers and sign their waiver before starting classes.

    Paid directly to D1 Training

    30-day notice required to change or cancel D1 plans.

    We suggest you commit to at least 8-week blocks of training so the athlete can get the most out of the program.

  • For Elite and Pro:

    Athletes attend a scheduled THESA class at D1 Training Colleyville on Tues and/or Thurs from 7-8:30PM, depending on the plan you enroll in.

For football athletes training independently or in-season with another sport. Open to athletes on both the 6-man or 11-man football paths.

  • Each athlete is assigned a Mentor Coach Pair (two coaches assigned together to follow child-safety best practices).

    Mentor Coaches:

    • Review athlete progress at each Combine

    • Conduct accountability check-ins

    • Guide goal-setting

    • Share resources

    Mentor Pods

    Optional small groups led by coaches or senior athletes that:

    • Train together at a common location

    • Hold each other accountable

    • Build leadership and community

  • Returning THESA Athletes

    • Continued access to all Combines, Field Sessions and mentorship

    • D1 Training is optional and paid separately

  • You will set up payment directly with D1 Training by calling the D1 Colleyville location or stopping by during normal business hours.

  • You must contact D1 Training directly to make changes to your plan or your payment method.

    To cancel or change your plan, you must notify D1 Training and give them 30 days notice.

  • No, the D1 Training program is designed for all athletes not just football players.

    The Combines and Field Sessions are designed for both 6-man and 11-man football players.

  • Field Sessions are structured training days focused on skill development, position work, football IQ, and team culture. They are instructional and designed to help athletes grow.

    Combines are evaluation days. Athletes are measured, timed, and assessed in specific performance areas (speed, agility, strength, and position skills) to establish benchmarks and track progress over time.

    Field Sessions build development. Combines measure it.

  • We encourage THESA athletes to attend as many Combines as they can. Combines are a tool to measure growth and assist in goal setting throughout the off-season.

    Combines are optional and attendance does not affect playing time.

  • Junior High athletes over the age of 12 are encouraged to participate in all THESA-led, off-season opportunities.
